Made from our locally grown mushrooms(not mycelium on grain). The mushrooms are cooked "low and slow" at 200F for 6 hours. They are freeze dried along with all the juices to create a beautiful, ultra fine powder that you can add to your food or drink. The extraction process allows your body to easily absorb ALL the available nutrients! Mushroom cell walls are largely composed of an amino-polysaccharide polymer called chitin. Our digestive systems are not well equipped to break this down. Luckily, heat can do the job for us, which is one of the reasons why cooking mushrooms is always recommended.
